Orig. ownersH.E. Oving, Rotterdam / Leeflang Heibedrijf, Gouda

This locomotive of the type EL110 was delivered new in 1953 to the firm HE. Oving, Rotterdam. Oving rented narrow gauge, especially in the construction industry this was very popular because of the changing need for equipment. This locomotive was no exception, until 1964 this locomotive was part of the rental fleet of Oving. On 23 of March 1964 the locomotive went to pile-driving company Leeflang in Gouda. Here it was used to transport concrete piles from the transfers to the piling rig. In 1976 the locomotive was not in use anymore, and in 1995 it was sold to scrapyard Verboon in Berkel & Rodenrijs. From this point the history is not clear, in 2010 the locomotive appeared in the club magazine the Buffer, the locomotive was private owned by someone in Friesland. In 2020 one of our young volunteers was able to buy the locomotive, at the moment it is being fully restored. The engine and gearbox have had a hard life and need to be completely overhauled.
